Learning and Development Reimagined

Things here at Jam Pan rarely standstill, we’re 10 next year and over the last couple of years we have been busy growing and evolving, we’ve also seen several key developments within the industry which have started to create a shift in perspective for many businesses. So now feels like the right time to acquaint (or reacquaint!) you with the new world of Jam Pan, the rationale behind our transformative changes, and what they mean for the industry.

In 2014, when I first founded Jam Pan, it was driven by a specific challenge: the frustration of working in-house and the limited access to top-notch learning talent. While freelancers were an option, navigating corporate obstacles to hire them was a painstaking process. We were determined to break free from stagnation, leading us to embark on a mission to enhance the accessibility of L&D professionals in the freelance market.

Although freelance support and our talent solutions remain a fundamental aspect of our business, we have evolved far beyond that. As we successfully completed more projects for our clients, our reputation in the industry began to flourish. Our service standards the quality of our solutions and our value for money promise meant clients kept coming back and led to an influx of requests for larger and more intricate assignments. Consequently, we started the transition from talent marketplace to becoming a strategic learning partner earning recognition through our position on the  2023 Fosway 9-Grid

The go to partner for learning and employee performance.

Similar to when I initially established the business, we have continued to assess organisational needs, identified challenges among our clients and in the market, and evaluated our own capabilities. We are now in the process of reimagining how learning solutions are conceived and delivered.

It became evident that there was a demand for a strategic learning partner capable of providing both learning solutions, engaging content and learning technology expertise. Consequently, we have expanded our range of solutions to accommodate the evolving needs of our clients.

Our offerings now encompass a comprehensive suite of solutions. From consultancy to support in understanding your unique requirements, to implementing and managing learning technologies, to creating customised content and talent solutions. We collaborate closely with our clients to tailor solutions that supercharge business impact and enhance employee engagement.

As you can see, there have been substantial changes, and we are currently involved in a number of really exciting projects that we’ll be sharing soon. Each of our solutions has been meticulously designed to address real-time challenges and deliver tangible value.

In-house learning technology experts.

When it comes to managing and optimising learning technology, continuity is incredibly important for ensuring successful adoption, consistent governance and maximising ROI. We made the decision to build out our own team of experts to provide just that.

Our technology services team have years of experience working with Learner Experience Platforms (LXP) and Learning Management System (LMS), delivering large-scale transformation projects for some of the biggest businesses across the globe. We’re not bound to any one platform – so no matter which you use, we’re ready to help you harness its true potential with support across the full lifecycle.

Strategic content development.

According to the Future of Jobs Report 2020, World Economic Forum, 50% of all employees will need reskilling by 2025. This puts huge emphasis on the need for organisations to understand the skills within the business and what the gaps are. Once identified, learning teams need to put in place mechanisms for managing this, highlighting opportunities for people to upskill and presenting them with great content.

When we produce learning content for clients, we take all of that into consideration – helping move learning from being tactical, to a strategic business partner that will drive deeper impact.

Partnering with the leading learning platforms.

We’re accredited partners of Cornerstone, 360Learning, EdCast and Degreed, with certified experts ready to help you make the most of your technology investments. But we remain agnostic, so no matter which platform you decide is the best for you, we can work with you to extract its full potential.

With so many exciting things going on at Jam Pan, we’re set up to help our clients in more ways than ever. If there’s anything you’d like to discuss, whether it be people, technology or content, get in touch we’d love to help.

David Wood,

CEO & Founder, Jam Pan
